A good Waterproof Mascaras

I don't know most girls who will happily go sans eye shadow. On the odd day (granted, they are few and far between) that We have opted to go 'bare lash' We have been pelted with comments similar to, 'oh, you look tired', or 'are you ill? ' or, the best; 'what's happened to your face?! ' Sigh.

Maybe the fact that we think it is the perfect odd to see a woman without cosmetics is a wider cultural issue however regardless, we the magical areas of mascara. Simple.

However , i would say the dilemma many of us face – commonly around twice a year – are what the hell do we do on holiday? There are nothing worse than mascara functioning down your face on a hot calendar day (definitely not attractive), and a eye shadow that can happily withstand swimming/sun bathing/long leisurely walks/pool parties and numerous forms of carnage, is a must.

Traditionally, iPhone waterproof case mascaras are quite dry in feel – they kind of have to be to face up to a soaking – and while it bodes well for water-proofing, imaginable flake onto the tops of your respective cheeks and make lashes look wiry and brittle.

Luckily, there are a few diamonds out there laugh in the face of the less well off waterproof case formulas, that will stay on your new lashes through wind, sun and rain (while lengthening, thickening and curling obvs).

Removing waterproof mascara is an good art and an ordinary make-up remover is not sufficient. Look for oil-based removers that will separate the formula without damaging your new lashes. A couple of favourites include Smashbox A Wrap Waterproof Makeup Remover, £16. 50, and Benefit They're Serious! Remover, £14. 50.
